]]>The type of hair is also one of the important questions that customers concern about. Questions range anywhere from what different types of hair are good for, why so many types are available, and of course how to choose the best hair for yourself. With so many options available, it is easy to get confused!
Indian hair is one of the most common types of hair our factory used in the hair system. Indian hair is very soft and fine and is best suited for dark hair colors of any hair length and shorter hair lengths in just about any color! Indian hair is a good match to Caucasian hair with a little bit of bend or a very slight wave. The Indian hair holds curls very well but they do loosen slightly but will never totally fall out unless you are in a damp or humid environment.
Remy hair gets its name after the manner in which it is handled and stored. In other words, the hair that’s kept “root-to-tip” means that the root end is distinguishable from the tip end. The roots and tips of Remy hair are grouped and aligned in the same direction.
In addition, Remy hair is subjected to fewer chemical processes which allow the hair to be healthier. Another important characteristic of Remy hair is the cuticle. If hair with a cuticle is inverted, it will become a tangled knotted mess, especially when wet. Remy hair is easier to maintain, lasts longer, and looks healthier and more natural than Non-Remy hair, which can look very shiny and artificial when first purchased and become dry and dull over time.
European hair refers to Caucasian hair from the western world, mainly from Russia. In the western world, very few women are willing to sell their hair which causes the high prices.
European hair has a fine denier and has natural light brown and blonde shades which require less processing. It is silky and shiny by nature and considered to be the highest quality of hair extensions you can buy. Given the immense popularity and demand of European hair, many retailers try to pass on the thin and soft versions of Chinese and Indian hair as this hair type to their customers.
The denier of a strand of Chinese hair is thicker than Indian hair. Also, it can handle more processing than Indian hair. However, if your system has Chinese hair it does not mean that you’ll receive a system filled with really coarsely textured hair! Although Chinese hair is thicker by nature and is used if you do need a thick texture, we can request a soft, fine texture with Chinese hair.
Chinese hair will not lose its quality after extreme processing, as long as the process is done correctly. Chinese hair is very flexible and strong and is suitable for most hair textures. It is known for being sleek and manageable while maintaining a naturally straight texture at the same time. Unlike Indian hair, it will not become frizzy or wavy in humidity.
The Virgin hair is totally unprocessed and has its cuticle layer still intact as it is not subjected to coloring or perming, whether it is straight or curly. This type of hair is generally collected from a single person, which is why it is raw and not chemically processed. Given the absolute purity of our Virgin hair, it has the color and texture of “dark brown” or “off-black” with a straight, wavy, or curly style.
1-1/2 inch rod size will open to approximately 3-inch wave.
When it is cut short, it will appear very straight.
1-inch rod size will open to approximately a 2-inch wave.
The style of the curl is a wave style. Those who like the wave the curl can so this curl.
7/8 inch rod size will open to approximately 1-3/4 inch wave.
This medium wave is one of the most common waves.
In this style, 3/4 inch rod size will open about ½ inch of the wave.
This pattern of the wave is very famous and it gives a very stylish and trendy look. People who love to curl their hair in a wavy style can use this style. It is sure that they will love the style.
5/8 inch rod size will open to around 1-1/4 inch curl.
If this is cut shorter than two inches most of the curl is cut out.
3/8 inch rod size is curly and will open to 3/4 inch curl.
This curl is the best for a person who loves heavy curls. In the end, the curl can end up with the wave depending upon the quality of your hair.
It is a slightly looser curl that has a 3/16 inch rod size.
This curl is for women who don’t want heavy curls in their hair. This curl is really sophisticated.

When you order the hair system for the first time, it is important to plan ahead and think strategically
More hair is not always the better. You need to consider your age when choosing the hair density. To be more specific, the thick type of hair density is more suitable for the young than the old.
Hair style can give your hair a natural and real look. The thick pattern of hair shall suit better to a layered hair style. One can go for adding bouncy curls to a thin hair density to make it look fuller and thicker
Knowing the density of your naturally growing hair is very important for you to choose a hairpiece with similar hair density.
If you are new to wearing hair system, it wouldn’t a good idea to start with your ideal density, because you will look noticeably different overnight, and you might feel comfortable having something on your head. Therefore, it might be better for you to order the system at a more conservative density. After getting some experience with wearing hair and practicing your attachments, you could add the density by 5% or 10% on tour subsequent orders to achieve the heavier look you want. After a few months, you might decide which density is best for you.
Heavier density choices mean a lot more hair in your system, which refers to heavier overall weight on your head, more unwieldy and difficult to attach, and longer drying time. All of these problems are easy to deal with over time, once you get used to them. But for the newbies, the weight can be frustrating and cause additional complications when learning to do attachments and styling your new hair. You'll go from being frustrated by having to style too little hair, to being frustrated by having to style too much hair.
The tightness of a wave or curl can dramatically affect the fullness of hair and needs to be considered when choosing density. There is a huge difference between the densities depending on how tight the curl or wave is, and that really needs to be considered when deciding which density to go with. Even the straight hair and wavy hair have the same density, the wavy system will look much fuller. With a tight curl, you need to come down the density drastically. Therefore, you need to adjust your hair density accordingly.
Similar to the wave and curl, you need to pay attention to the length of your hair and the style you desire. If your hair style is a shorter cut with lots of life or curls on top, you definitely do not want to start out with a heavy density which will tell people that you are wearing a wig. For longer, flatter hair you might want to ensure that the top is dense enough that you have full coverage on the scalp and a clear, healthy-looking part.
The relationship of the base size to the density is also an important factor. Depending on the wave/curl, hair length, and style, you may want to adjust the densities on the sides and back of a larger hairpiece so you do not have unnaturally bulky hair. Of course, with smaller hair systems you have to be more careful that you size your base appropriately.
No. We all know that all hair system companies use somewhat similar types of density scale but the scales are not exactly the same. We deal with a wide range of densities ranging from 30 strands of hair per sq. cm to 150 strands of hair per sq. cm, so the 30’s one is probably the thinnest one and the 150’s one has the thickest density.
Surely it will affect! If you go for a thin density hair system then we will advise you a smooth as well as invisible Hollywood base to give you a natural look. And if you decide to go with a thick hair density then we shall advice you on a heavy, thick base. If the hair density is on the lighter side then the base material should definitely be a finer, smoother one. Thus, it is important to keep in mind the hair density you shall have while choosing the base materials.
You can adjust the density after the unit is delivered but we won’t recommend you to do so. When the whole process of hair system is completed there shall be no remnants of stubbles in the base, delivering a natural appearance. However, the density can easily be thinned by a thinning shear but the problem faced is that the hair system shall be thinned as close as possible to the base, leaving stubbles of hair in the base. These stubbles shall give you an unpleasant feeling upon touched. NOTE: Thinning has nothing to do with the bending of hair.
Yes, the density across different parts of the unit can be different. This option may give you an unnatural yet a real look.
Hmm…, we will advise the man to go for a hair system of more than 60 hair per sq. cm, only if he does not have a special hair density.
No, there is no such rule. But usually, females prefer to have denser hair than men.
We offer densities between 30 – 150 hair strands per sq. cm and all the hair system is hand–tied. Hair system is all about the seamless connection between a tool and art (not science), thus, you can never get more hair strands than the above mentioned in per square centimeter of your scalp.
Yes. You can order any density with the lace base. But logically, speaking, it is not ideal to order a medium to full hair density with lace as you will not be able to see through it.
Even if having maximum hair will bear the same cost choosing heavy hair density may not match your own hair or your age and will give you an unnatural and unreal look.
Hope you will understand the reason we will explain now. Just the way you cannot find two exactly same persons in the World, not even twins, you cannot find two units exactly similar even if they have the same density. Designing and making a hair system is an art form and the hair system processes are all done by hand, thus, it may have some differences.

If you want to add grey hairs to your hair system, please specify a grey percentage.
Grey hair percentage is the amount of grey hair you need in the whole of your hairpiece. Grey hair can be added in the top, front, sides, back, temple areas to bring a natural look.
Generally, people demand grey hair on the sides of the hair system. If you choose to send us your own hair samples, then you do not fill the grey hair percentage, because we can match the grey hair percentage in the sample
When you choose grey hair in your system, the biggest doubt is to choose a human or synthetic hair. In that case, it is always better to go for human hair as they look natural and real in sunlight.
One of the main reasons why synthetic hair is often chosen is the inevitable fading that every hair system will go through.
When a system has a blend of gray and a darker color, the dark color will end up fading over time. If you color a unit that is made with synthetic hair back to its original shade, the synthetic gray will not be affected, only the darker human hair.
The traditional idea of highlights is subtle, evenly-laced streaks throughout the hair system.
This kind of highlighting gives the general appearance of lightness which brightens the overall color.Highlights are typically applied to a hair system by a checkerboard design that alternates the 2 different required colors. Or by having small circles of the highlighted color placed evenly throughout the system.
This form of highlighting is very bold streaks.
Depending on the look your desire, these streaks can be placed throughout the hair or just in the front/top/crown areas. This kind of highlight can also be used in a hair system in a 1 cm square checker board design or in a bold circle placed throughout the hair system.
The highlighting chunks become increasingly popular.
Comparing to the streaks and spotlights, this kind of highlighting is where there is a bigger, bolder streak or chunk of color used in specific deliberate places. Chunks require at least 1.5 cm square on a system base.

Lace base hair systems are the best one when it comes to durability and also they provide a real look to the user. Lace system base is light and breathable, because the air can pass through mesh. Various laces are available in the market and we have Swiss lace, French lace, and Mono lace .
Few lace systems are combination of both durability and natural appearance, the front base lace system is one of such hair systems. The lace material is used in the front and in the side hairline area only.
However, sometimes it can be bit problematic as different materials are used for hair system so the stitching areas and joints can create a little uneasiness for the wearer.
Polymers create an imitation skin-like material and are commonly referred to as the skin hair system because of their close resemblance to real skin tones.
Depending on the type of polymers used, these kinds of bases can be extremely durable. Sometimes, the polymer material is added to other hair systems to strengthen stressed areas such as the part and the base perimeter. Polymer bases are constructed from two primary materials: Silicone and Polyurethane, they are not breathable and can be very hot and uncomfortable to wear
Silicone is very durable and it repels body acids and other elements. However, it cannot be dyed, so it is difficult to achieve a natural skin tone. Also, it is almost impossible to attach these hair system with hair glue or hair type.
Polyurethane is less durable than silicone, but is can be dyed easily to achieve a natural skin tone and it can be attached with hair glue or hair tape. The reason why polyurethane is less durable than silicone is that it is vulnerable to body acids and will turn yellow and breakdown over time. To overcome the drawbacks of these materials, silicone and polyurethane are sometimes joined during construction of the base.
The durability depends on the thickness of the system base. 0.03mm thin skin hair systems can last 8-10 weeks. 0.05 mm thin skin hair systems can last 2-4 months. 0.08mm thin skin hair systems can last 5-8 months. If you want to know how to choose skin base, please click here
The oldest and the most used hair systems are these ones which are unbeatable when it comes to durability. Polyurethane linings in the sides are used with the mesh material. It is kind of thick and durable. However, when it comes to appearance it can’t provide the same look and appearance as the other hair systems. So, this hair system is kind of less preferred than others.
After knowing well about the different types of hair systems, you may have an idea what are the exact specifications of them. Now, according to the durability and reality, you can pick the one you need. Hair systems need maintenance and care. So, if you want the longer lifespan of hair system, it depend on how you use it and take care of it.
If you want a hair system base that will be durable and last a really long time, Mono bases may your choices. If you are looking for a hair system base that can provide the most natural and undetectable appearance, mesh bases are the way for you to go.

Determining which length of hair to order for a long hairstyle in a hair system is a bit challenging. Are your expectations even realistic taking into consideration your own biological hair texture, curl, length, and density? Let’s look at the length issue at first today. There are many aspects that need to be taken into consideration when deciding the length of the hair system.
It is important to understand the difference between what you are saying you want and what you will actually be getting. For example, if you say that you want to have 15” of hair length through your hair system and you want the hair un-cut, then what you will actually achieve is 15” of hair that appears to have a slightly layered effect throughout, and may some wispy ends.
The reason for this problem is to demonstrate this problem, you can pull a small section of hair up from any one point on the base which will measure about 15” in length. However, when the hair is placed on your head, it will fall and flow freely, and the areas underneath will appear longer than the hair on the top.
The amount of layering is affected by the size of your system base. The larger the system base, the greater the amount of layering you would have.
If you want to have the hair all one length, then you need to know how to ask a stylist for it.
First of all, you need to measure the length from the center top of your head down to where you want the finish. Then, you need to add several inches to account for the layering which means that the length of hair should be a little bit longer than what you want your finished style to be. If your base is 7” wide, you will get about 3-4” of layering on each side, and more in the back. If you want your blunt cut to land at 13”, you may need to order 16-17” of length.
Other things to consider: wispy and blending.
The layering is not the only thing you need to consider, you also need to think about how the system blends with your bio hair. Because of the natural layering effect and the shorter returns at the top of the system, the ends will be less dense and even can be wispy, if you do not have enough natural hair behind the lengths of the system to fill the gaps. If you neither want the transplant nor the wispy ends, you may need to order the hair system that has long enough hair which allows being cut approximately two inches off of the ends.
If your own bio hair is longer than your hair system, or if your hairstyle calls for it, you need to decide whether you want the finished lengths to be cut to blend into your own hair or covering your own hair with the hair in the system. In the latter case, you do not have to add length to account for the cut-in.
The above order specifications are really important which need to be discussed in detail with your hairstylist, and you should thoroughly think through and plan ahead.
Anatural front hairline is probably the most common question when you order a hair system. However, everyone has their own opinions on “natural look”. So how do you go about designing your most natural front hairline?
The age-appropriate recession is one of the most important things you need to decide carefully. Recession goes for both men and women which means no one has a straight line of hair across their front hairline. When we talk about recession, the drastic “V” appearance may jump into our minds, but that is just an extreme example. Finding the best amount of recession will make you look even younger.
We have to face the truth that no one, even those with naturally thick hair havs a dense line of hair at their front hairline. There is a natural transition starting with finer hairs that graduate to a fuller density. This can be replicated on a full lace or lace front system design. In a high def hairline, the hair is knotted into the lace material individually to mimic a naturally growing hairline. After the hair has been knotted into the base material, the knots can be bleached to lighten their appearance, giving an even natural appearance.
All we introduced in the Hair Replacement System Base Design, there are many different types of base materials, but for the most natural front appearance, you will want to choose the lace one. Because it’s very fine and soft features, the lace base cannot last for a very long time. For something more durable, go with the Swiss Lace, and you can achieve a totally natural appearance, as well as a little longer lifespan.
In order to keep the most natural-looking of your hairline during the attachment, you may want to use a liquid adhesive. The choice of liquid adhesive really depends on yourself and how much bonding time you want to achieve. Any liquid adhesive can be used with lace-based materials, all you need to do is to ensure that it is dry before placing the lace onto it.
]]>The Injected hair is good because the hair is hand-inserted to the base from different angles, which means it looks very natural for all the hair to tend to fall in different directions. The natural design makes the people more serious and formal. And I have a suggestion that it’s better to make the injected hair for 0.04 to 0.06. If you want thicker hair, it can make on 12mm thickness thin skin. Just remember to insult your consultant and tell him what to do.
Namely, V-looped is related to the V. This kind of skin hair is not tied but looped into the base so no visible knots show. V-looped hair is very popular in the world because it can be divided in different directions depends on what you think. Ventilation in V-loop pieces is as good as it is in the knotted pieces. And about the V-looped hair design, it can be made for super thin about 0.02-0.03. This is another reason why V- looped hair sells very well in the world, the super-thin skin systems are far more natural than lace systems. Do you know why? Because there are no knots to bleach, no fine lines from lace. If you wear a V- looped hair, all you see is hair coming from the scalp!
Be different from the V-looped hair, the single knotted hair is attached or tied to the base with the help of a very tiny hook. Absolutely, we can reach the conclusion from its name, right? It’s almost like sewing and a hairpiece maker knots every single strand of hair patiently one by one. This creates innumerable tiny pore spaces all over the base and so ventilation is high in knotted hairpieces. For this reason, manufacturers will make the single knotted hair with a thickness from 0.04 to 12mm. This is the reason why single knotted hair orders will be much more than the other two hair. So you will find it’s easy to see knotted hair on the toupee markets.
Injected hair and V-looped hair are different from knotted hair. The reason is that they are pulled through the base or Injected from the skin, all manufactures try to make this toupee more natural with the different material and different nature design. Especially, injected hair is flatter, it isn’t easy to change hair direction, this is a character. V-looped hair is more lift, easy to be styled into any direction freely, single knots are tied to the base so they are more durable. All these three hairs make up the most products of the skin-toupee market.
